Trivia

• Many achievement names are references.
  • For The Escapists:
    • "The Wet Bandit" is a reference to Harry Lyme and Marv Murchins in Home Alone (1990). Marv clogs the drains and leave water running after raiding the Murphy home.
  • For The Escapists 2:
    • "I Am Your Father" is a reference to a very famous quote from a movie of the Star Wars franchise, as well as the requirements. The achievement requires players to fight each other with Energy Swords, which in turn refer to lightsabers, fictional weapons iconic of the franchise. The characters depicted on the achievement icon resemble the characters involved in the "I am your father" scene, further reinforcing the reference.
    • "The Cake is a Lie" is a reference to a quote from the video game Portal. The quote became an internet meme and is referenced often.
    • "One Pixellated Step..." is a play on astronaut Neil Armstrong's famous quote "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" spoken when performing the first manned moon landing.
    • "Call of Snooty" is a play on the phrase "Call of Duty", and likely refers to the eponymous video game franchise.
