Usage[]
The Contraband Pouch is an item that allows you to carry contraband through Contraband Detectors without raising your heat. As long as you have one in your inventory, detectors won't go off, also, this is an essential for escapes, it is recommended to have one on hand.
It will lose 20% durability (25% on PC) every time you pass through a Contraband Detector with contraband other than the Pouch itself in your inventory.
It will not be confiscated in the Console and Mobile versions of the first game. If you have access to a lot of Foil, it may be worthwhile to create a Durable Contraband Pouch instead; the Durable version takes 2 foil instead of 1 and 1 duct tape to craft, but lasts longer. In The Escapists 2, the Contraband Pouch is used in crafting the Durable Contraband Pouch, but less usable durability can be obtained if one upgrades the Contraband Pouch to its durable variant when it has only one use left.
