Usage
If Guards find dirt, it is evidence of digging and you'll be thrown in Solitary. To easily get rid of dirt just give it to an inmate or flush it down the toilet. You can use the dirt on top of the hole you have dug or from below the tunnel to cover the hole down to the tunnel (while you are inside the tunnel).
Obtaining
Dirt can be obtained through digging a square of land and can be found in an inmates desk.

When you find dirt in someone else's desk, if you for some reason take the dirt and drop it, if a guard finds it you will be sent to solitary.
