Obtaining[]

Can be found in inmates' desks, on knocked out inmates, or bought. ^[1]

Usage[]

The File is used to craft items and cut Fences, Vent Covers and Slats. It exists in all three Escapists games. It has 10 uses in TE1, and 4 in TE2. Note that although the File itself also does some cutting, it is more effective to craft and use Cutters, since they are faster to cut and longer lasting.
