The Grappling Hook is an item used to get over walls. It can only be used to climb over walls on roofs, walls on ground level are too tall. It degrades 20% per use and requires 70 intellect to craft. On console versions, it is called the Grapple Hook instead, and degrades 35% per use. On mobile versions, however, the Grappling Hook does not degrade at all.
In The Escapists 2, the Grappling Hook does not degrade, and can be used on ground level, but can only ascend one floor at a time. Certain areas cannot be grappled to, while others can - some roofs often have only a single valid tile for grappling onto.
