K.A.P.O.W Camp is one of the Maps in The Escapists 2. Three keys are needed to unlock this prison. Upon entering, during the warden gives you the tour, he says that the 3rd floor is haunted. He may just be saying that because this is actually the way of the "Glide to Victory" escape. Look below for more info on how to escape. (This Prison is a Reference to the Nazi concentration camps and the Nazi/German POW (Prisoner of War) Camp in WW2.
Description
Captured behind enemy lines, you and your squadron find yourself thrown in the notorious K.A.P.O.W. camp. Not content with sitting out the rest of the war, you decide to comb your quiff and find a way out of this joint in true Hollywood-hearthrob style!

Room Desks
Due to the cameras located in the cell rooms, guards will be alerted if you search a desk that is not your own. To combat this, you can either:
- Wear a guards uniform (obtained through quests, crafting from a infermary outfit craftable from a inmate outfit, or from looting an unconscious guard)
- Move all the desks into the adjacent room below the bathroom. Because the desks are out of sight from the camera, you can freely search with no heat level. Blocking the red door is no problem, the guards will still use them and climb over/through the desks

Ways To Escape
In the K.A.P.O.W. Camp there are 3 possible ways to escape.
Perimeter Breakout
Preparation:
- Get 60 Intelligence
- Search or buy 4x File, 3x Duct Tape
- Search or buy 1x Toothbrush/Comb, 1x Lighter, 1x Talcum powder, 1x Toothpaste
- Craft 1x Flimsy Cutters, 1x Lightweight Cutters, 1x Sturdy Cutters ( or 3 sturdy, you choose,)
1x Wad of Putty, 1x Molten plastic
- Find a guard with a red key ( best way of doing this is to knock out the guard that speaks to you at Roll Call as they usually have the red key )
- Take the red key off the guard, craft a red key mould ( 1x red key and 1x wad of putty ) and put the key back onto the guard ( if you don't make it, drop the key and run back to your cell and put all your contraband into your desk )
- Craft a red plastic key ( 1x red key mould and 1x molten plastic )
- Craft a Bed Dummy too ( 2x pillows, 1x red blanket )
- Or:
- Get 60 Intelligence.
- Find or buy 2x file, 1x Duct Tape.
- Find or buy 1x Talcum powder, 1x Lighter, 1x Toothpaste, 1x Toothbrush/Comb
- Craft flimsy cutters using files and duct tape.
- Craft molten plastic using comb/toothbrush and lighter.
- Craft wad of putty using Talcum powder and toothpaste.
- Find a guard with the red key. Knock him out and take his red key to craft a red key mold.
- Craft a plastic red key using red key mold and molten plastic.
- Find tub of bleach and use it on your prison outfit to make an infirmary outfit. Get 2x pillow and 1x blanket and craft them into Bed Dummy (make sure to place it in your bed just before Final Roll Call).
- OR
- Get the Gardening job and 70+ intelligence
- During job time (or other periods) get the trowl from the desk and go to your right past the medic office until you see a small building with a camera on the outside.
- Use the trowl to dig underground (don't worry about guards, they don't patrol the area.) and keep on repeating step 2 or get better digging tools, you can get unlimited trowls with the gardening job but you have to use the one you got from the desk or else it won't respawn.
- Dig up to the perimeter fence and stop (the fence is doubled and electrified so you have to turn off generator and head back before the lights come back on.)
- Dig past the perimeter fence and up on the outside and escape! (works with multiplayer.)
The Escape:
- Put your Bed Dummy in your bed
- Check in on the final Roll Call of the day
- Run to the generator ( south east corner of the map )
- Wait until 00:00 and turn the generator off
- Head to the southern fence ( the one located between the two rooms with the hammer symbol and the spot where the dogs are on your map )
- Cut through the first fence ( DO NOT cut through the fence before 00:00 or you will be shot! )
- Head south again and cut through the second fence ( be aware of the spotlights and patrolling guards! )
- Escape!
- OR:
- Check in on final Roll Call of the day.
- Then, go to the generator (south east corner of the map) using the northeast passage to avoid contraband detectors.
- Wait until Lights Out, then turn the generator off (see the last Preparation for items needed).
- Go to the red door below the gym and you will find one fence. Use your flimsy cutters to cut through the fence.
- Escape!
Speedy McQueen
This escape is a singleplayer only escape
Preparation:
- Get 40 Intelligence.
- Craft 1x Bed Dummy (if you will escape in night)
- Search or buy 1x Makeshift Ladder.
- Search or buy 1x Screwdriver, 1x Can of Soda, 1x Sugar Mint (commonly found on guards).
- Craft 1x Makeshift Rocket Thruster.
- Locate the room with the bicycle in the South side of the prison.
The Escape:
- Place Bed Dummy in your bed.
- Take all your items and head to the room with the bicycle.
- Locate the shadow of the vent on the floor and put your ladder on it.
- Climb up your ladder (like you do when you climb a desk) and unlock the vent.
- Unlock the second vent and go down.
- Put the Makeshift Rocket Thruster on the bicycle.
- Escape!

Glide To Victory
This escape is a multiplayer only escape
Preparation:
- Get 60 Intelligence.
- Steal 2x Bed Sheets.
- Search or buy 1x Length of Rope, 4x Dowel (this is best bought from inmates), 2x Roll of Duct Tape, x1 Circuit Board, x1 Wire, x1 Lighter and x1 Comb or Toothbrush.
- Craft 1x Molten Plastic.
- Craft 1x Glider Skin, 2x Half Frame of Glider.
- Craft 2x Sturdy Pickaxe (at least the sturdy version of them).
- Take Circuit Board and Wire and locate the guard with the Cyan Keycard.
- Knock out the guard and craft Cyan Keycard Mould. Don't forget to put original Cyan Keycard back to guard's inventory or flush it down the toilet.
- Craft the Fake Cyan Keycard.
- Optional: Search and grab some energy drinks or food to replenish your energy when breaking down a long wall.
The Escape:
- Take all of your items.
- Run to the library next to the kitchen and head up the stairs.
- Use your Fake Cyan Keycard on the cyan keycard lock which is located on the wall from the right and let the second player come in.
- Head up the stairs again and make your way to the south east part of the roof where you have the wooden platform.
- Equip all of your glider parts one by one and put them on the platform.
- Use your Sturdy Pickaxes on the eastern wall and break all the damaged pieces.
- Escape!
