The payphone is an object in The Escapists 2 which can give you tips about the current prison you are in. These tips include prison-unique escape tips, as well as hidden crafting recipes. Using the payphone costs money, between 15 and 55 dollars, depending on the tip you purchase. You can check the tips without paying money by opening the data_eng.dat file in the Data folder.
